Basque Leku Ona Description:
Boise's large and vibrant Basque population is evident in its most prominent hotel and restaurant, Leku Ona, meaning "Good Place." Hearkening to an Old-European/Old-Country ambience, the restaurant offers three seating venues depending on the season: the year-round third floor dining room, an open-air rooftop café, and sidewalk tables. In keeping with its casual style, dining is family-style with a soup of the day and a house salad served with fresh-baked bread, followed by battered codfish and the chef's paella, french fries or baked red potatoes, and your choice of entrée from one of six options: top sirloin steak, roasted chicken, pork chops, lamb stew, pork loin or meatballs. Although "family dining" might raise a caution sign, the fare here has never been disappointing. Leku Ona also offers a full bar, cigars and a banquet room for large parties.
