Purple Sage Description:
In the renovated 1895 telephone building on Main Street, this American Western restaurant features purple tufted booths, painted scrims of purple sage stems hanging from the ceiling and a back room with a painting of bronco riders, purple mountains and a blue sky by a local artist. An upscale twist enhances Western dishes including barbecue chicken tamales, blue cheese fondue, sugar-and-chile-cured duck and butternut squash ravioli.
