Sip Coffee & Expresso Bar Description:
Sip is the love child of a chef and a cup of coffee. Andrew Weissman is perhaps the city's most acclaimed chef, and the coffee he speaks about in reverential wine terms of acid, aroma and finish is exclusive to his casual coffee bar and sandwich and pastry emporium. Baristas occasionally have to be coaxed into performing up to the chef's standards; when they do, it's buonissimo. Panini are the menu's mainstay, with selections such as goat cheese with fire-roasted peppers and eggplant spread and smoked breast of chicken with pepperjack cheese and spicy mayo. As for the chocolate chunk cookies, when they're good they're utterly irresistible.
