Sangria Description:
Tapas and paella are served in long, narrow rooms done up with Picasso-esque murals of café scenes and burgundy-covered tables overlaid with brown paper. The space seats 160 (including a tiny bar) but has a more intimate feeling than that suggests. The array of tapas include mixed olives marinated in paprika, garlic, onions and olive oil; baked goat cheese afloat in a light tomato sauce; roasted red peppers sparked with anchovies; and clams simmered in white wine. There are four varieties of paella, and it's important to note that one order is enough for as many as three. Try the house-made sangría to complement the fare. A flamenco dancer entertains on Thursday evenings. The patio is heated and open in the cold months, so be sure to check it out.
