Ri Ra Description:
Ri Ra is Providence's winner in the upscale-pub sweepstakes. According to the waitstaff, it serves the type of creative Irish fare you'd find in, say, Dublin's chic Temple Bar neighborhood. According to us, it's just Irish-American pub grub. But that's not such a bad thing, whether you sample the corned beef and cabbage, boxty or Guinness stew. Ri Ra is nothing if not a blast for the singles, co-workers and even families who gather in this bar, literally shipped over from Ireland and re-assembled in Rhode Island. Portions are enormous. Prices are reasonable. And it's hard not to leave happy---although you may not remember exactly what you ate.
