City street parking and lots only. The museum does not have a parking lot.

Public Transportation:

Call Tri-Met at (503) 238-RIDE for best directions.

General Rules:

No photography of traveling exhibits allowed.
No flash photography of permanent collection allowed.
No recording devices.
No smoking inside.
No food/drink in exhibition halls.
No cellular phones.
Backpacks & other large items *MUST* be checked in at the coat check area in the main museum lobby.

Driving direction to Portland Art Museum:
From I-5 north take I-405 north and take exit 2A (Salmon St). Turn right on Salmon St & continue 5 blocks to SW Park Ave. Take a right turn at Park Ave.

From I-5 south take exit 302B-the I-405 south exit. Take exit 2A (Couch St/Burndside) and follow to 15th Ave. Go straight on SW 15th to SW Salmon St and take a left. Proceed 6 blocks to SW Park Ave and take a right.

From I-84 after approaching the I-5 junction keep left and follow the Beaverton signs. On the Markham Bridge, take the left lane marked City Center/I-405. Proceed on I-405 and take exit 2A (Salmon St) and proceed as directed above.
