Colombo Italia Description:
A second floor bar has been added to this little restaurant, as well as an appetizer menu filled with fare that makes you want to sample it all. The dinner menu features standard Italian-American dishes like veal and chicken Marsala and fettuccine carbonara and Alfredo and expands the horizons with a number of seafood selections. Crab cakes with a lemon-dill sauce are offered as an appetizer or main course, steamed mussels are drizzled with lemon, garlic and butter, and a house specialty is butterscotch shrimp, not made with the dessert sauce, of course, but with a rich white cream sauce sparked with Scotch whiskey. Accompaniments include fresh mixed green and Caesar salads and warm garlic bread dusted with Parmesan.
