Franco's Description:
The interior is Art Deco and very comfortable with nothing to frighten the establishment. Open for breakfast, it fills up with antique and art dealers arriving early; lunch is a mix of business types and ladies who lunch; at dinner everyone pitches up. The Italian menu offers perhaps crab with tomato and avocado; chicken liver terrine with red onion and fig marmalade; salads, pastas and risotto; and hearty mains like lamb rump with braised lettuce and fregola or sea bream and sea bass. Desserts go nicely traditional. The staff is professional; wine is on the pricey side and the ground floor looks out onto Jermyn Street. Set 2-course lunch £25, 3 courses £30. Pre- and post-theatre dinner 2 courses £16, 3 courses £20.
