There's even an ocean view and a private room at this Lahaina restaurant. Non-steak specialties include lobster, lamb chops and fresh local fish like ahi and opakapaka. Ruth's Chris is surprisingly vegetarian-friendly, offering sides of creamed spinach, Maui onion rings, fresh broccoli, asparagus with hollandaise and potatoes au gratin. For dessert, target the caramelized banana cream pie though close seconds are the chocolate sin cake and crème brûlée. The wine list is quite well-thought-out and location-specific, and there are all manner of martinis and single-malt Scotches.
