This restaurant is a little gem on Kauai. The romantic dining room is tucked within a lush setting of koi ponds, tiki torches and gardens. These can be viewed from tables on the open-air verandas, or patrons may sit inside the cozily elegant dining room. Select a wine, relax and breathe in the balmy air while you peruse an extensive menu that draws on an ever-changing list of local ingredients and island-style preparations, such as marinated pork pot stickers, roasted duck spring rolls and steamed seafood laulau. The fresh Hawaiian fish is impeccably cooked and flavored, whether grilled over kiawe wood and topped with a tropical fruit and avocado salsa and kaffir lime sauce, or stir-fried with Asian vegetables. Steak, pork, ribs, lamb chops and chicken dishes complete the varied menu. The waitstaff is efficient and cordial; the setting is relaxed.
