Far west suburban Geneva has seen a dining boon of sorts, and its residents (and those willing to travel) are all the better for it. This quaint, mod, mostly morning and lunch spot is just the sort every town wishes it had. Fortunately, it also stands up to more creative downtown places like Bongo Room, Orange and Flo. Settle into the spacey-cool eatery for a one-eyed Susan (an egg-in-a-hole take on grilled cheese) or a tasty thimble of de puerco, a meaty blend of chorizo, bacon, prosciutto, garlic and caramelized onions drizzled with balsamic reduction. Wash it all down with fresh-squeezed orange-berry juice or something hard like a raspberry-pear mimosa. As the day wears on, you'll get to tackle the likes of cream of jalapeño soup or a mushroom cake with fries, too.
