The Plumeria Beach House in The Kahala Hotel & Resort is an attractive space, open on one side to the ocean. A breakfast buffet is served in the mornings, while the lunch menu features burgers, sandwiches and a variety of globally influenced dishes, from Greek salad to Italian flatbread pizza. On Wednesdays, Plumeria offers a curry lunch special that's popular with locals. Diners choose from Indian, Thai or Japanese curries, which are then served with jasmine rice, papadam and condiments like mango chutney and pickled vegetables. Dinner offerings might include a crab and clam boil; rosemary and Hawaiian salt roasted chicken with mashed potatoes; and braised Kurobuta pork with sweet potato taro purée and lomi-lomi tomato.
