Azul Description:
Azul, the formal, expensive dining room at this resort at Ko Olina, was designed with a Mediterranean motif, going along with the name, which is Spanish for blue. The appetizers are high-end---grilled scallops, sautéed foie gras, crab cakes and Beluga caviar. The best is likely to be the night's special antipasto selection. Among the entrées, roasted lobster in tarragon butter, roast rack of lamb with a shallot confit, tournedos of ahi with foie gras. There are two prix-fixe menus nightly, and the cellar remains considerable, with an interesting selection of Spanish and Italian wines.
