Patrizio boasts some of the prettiest outdoor dining in Dallas on its live oak-shaded patio. Indoors has the patina of an upscale New York Italian restaurant that's been around for 100 years, and rare for Dallas, the patina is not the handy-work of a designer, but the finish of a building more than 70 years old. Start with the crab cakes composed of Texas blue crab, served over baby greens, diced olives and tomatoes, all laced with rémoulade and basil aïoli, or the pepperoni bread to satisfy the pizza craving. Pair one or either with tiramisu and one could wrap up the evening. Stay traditional with the entrées: baked ziti with homemade meat sauce and the capelli d'Angelo.
