Maggiano's Little Italy Description:
Maggiano's offers upscale, family-style Italian dining in cavernous dining rooms with low lighting, exuding a relaxed, old-world elegance. Order individual entrées or choose from the family-style menu, which allows sampling pasta dishes including house-made lasagna, salads (which we find average), chicken and meat entrées and heaps of vegetables, along with generously portioned desserts. Service is attentive, and the wine list adequate if somewhat on the safe side. We recommend the chicken piccata, studded with capers and lemon, and enjoy the pizza which children readily gobble as a main course, or adults nibble as an appetizer. The Rigatoni D, a house special containing chicken, mushrooms and onions in a Marsala cream sauce, is also a winner. Stop by post shopping for the pleasant happy hour or for the inventive cocktails and plates of bruschetta, mussels and clams.
