Review :
My partner and I were there 4/25/09 for lunch. the food was terrific, but the service was anything but.
We were the only customers, yet received almost non-existent service. We had to carry our drinks up to the counter to request refills because the server only entered the room we were in to deliver food and the bill.
I ordered a dish served with palua rice specifically because I wanted to try palua. When the meal came we were only given basmati rice. I asked about the palua and was told that the basmati rice was palua. Believe it or not, I do know the difference between the two and I don't appreciate being lied to.
We tried to order dessert but were told that the restaurant did not have any dessert that day. Really? You have NO dessert at all even though you have five different items on your menu? Either that's terrible grocery shopping skills or you just don't want us here.
We got the message loud and clear: Customers not welcome at lunchtime. We will not be returning.
