Review :
Some friends and I had heard really good things abot Zibibbos, and came along expecting a fantastic dining experience.
We were greeted by a fairly subdued, kinda bland restaurant setting. Although low lighting can be romantic, it can also wash out what might well be interesting decor in a dim blur.
The first fly in the ointment was the second waiter who came to serve us after we had been seated. Although I'm sure he really is very knowledgable about wines, and am impressed with the amount of time that he has spent learning about them, I could have done with some actual advice.
The Starters were well done, nice tapas.
The mains were poor, my steak was average in quality, but one of my companions had an oversalted fish. It was almost inedible. The vegetables and salad are ordered separately, which I think is a needless complication.
My overall impression was negative, I was mostly put off by the service and the poor mains.
The only redeeming feature that I could find was that the desserts were very tasty.
I won't be going back just for the desserts.
