Texas Ribs Description:
For a barbecue place, Texas Ribs serves up an amazingly diverse menu of non-barbecued foods. The cook whips up quesadillas and chili, steamed shrimp and steak and loads in between. We’ve even watched ladies daintily nibbling on salads. But why not enjoy what this restaurant does best? Ribs. Dry-rubbed and smoky, they come in the usual full or half racks, and if you are passionate about ribs, better order the whole rack, plus their pit potato, a baked potato that cooks with the meat and soaks up the drippings. Even if you overeat, be sure to take home one of their made-on-the-premises pies. Since everyone loves this food, the place is apt to be crowded and you may even hear some faintly Texas drawls. If you aren’t convinced by the food of its Western roots, the cowboy posters will clinch it.
