Burapa Thai Classic Description:
The second location in the Burapa restaurant family is darkly romantic with an extensive menu that is not so classic Thai: Wonder Chicken, Bangkok Beef, Beef Madness, and Sunny Tilapia are all westernized concepts. Yet if you pour over the offerings, you'll find a few gems that are standards. As for noodles, the pad see ew of wide rice noodles has both the right flavor and texture, though the kitchen skimps on using the traditional Chinese broccoli. Appetizers of shrimp cake and taro spring rolls are pleasing, but the Bangkok Beef comes as thick knife-worthy slices of meat. It is nice to see that effort is made to please children: three entrées seem very kid-friendly.
