Mom's Apple Pie Company Description:
Long gone is the Mom's Herndon bakery, but its sibling lives and thrives in Leesburg, where, at its corner location, folks can drop by for a cookie, wedge of or whole pie, and other interesting treats. Because the owner also grows berries and other produce, you may even luck out with a display of freshly picked, seasonal goods to take home as well. It may not be the best place for dieters, but if you can sneak in a few extra calories, try the Texas Chocolate Cake, more thick, wickedly rich brownie than cake. Note that all the pies contain no preservatives and as little sugar as possible, and all fruit pies are from farm-fresh ingredients. Also located in Occoquan.
