Last Samurai Description:
The immediate impression given by the black-lacquered interior is one of freneticism. Chefs are passing off food and tossing knives in the air and flashing fires as they entertain diners positioned around a large teppanyaki table grill. The fresh sushi comes out from behind a giant saltwater fish tank, but the rest of the food is cooked right in front of you. Expect traditional fare---sizzling onions, hibachi filet mignon, chicken or tender scallops, noodles for yakisoba soup, veggies and rice. The Geisha Special (New York steak, shrimp and chicken), which includes soup, salad and sides, will fill you up without busting your wallet. On the other side of the fish tank, there's a small sushi bar with booth and bar seating if you aren't in the mood for a fire show. The pieces of saba (mackerel) nigiri and hamachi are fresh; the aji was a standout. Ultimately, the staff is professional, friendly and entertaining, an ideal combination for a place that welcomes families vacationing in Park City.
