Three restaurants have come and gone in the Hotel Park City but a major, high-end chain like Ruth's Chris Steak House should provide some stability to the luxury property. A wall of bay windows overlooking the Park City Municipal Golf Course and the ridges of Park City Mountain Resort adds a welcome breath of fresh air to the usually stuffy steakhouse atmosphere. Be on the lookout, however, for a challenging kitchen and lacking service. The Prime cuts of beef, first-rate side dishes (like the shoestring potatoes and sautéed mushrooms) and flavorful desserts (try the signature chocolate avalanche) still reign but you might have to send back your dish once (or twice) before you get what you ordered. Blame it on the resort mentality.
