Crazy Bear Description:
From the name, you'd never guess that the restaurant majors in topnotch Asian cooking. Nor would you get it from the décor, which is more turn-of-the-century glitz than Far Eastern. It's dark, romantic and definitely fun. The menu includes a whole range of dishes from Shanghai hot-and-sour soup which swims with goodies, steamed edamame and braised smoked pork ribs (all starters) to salads, noodles, some good seafood (try the whole wok-fried lobster at £32) and a whole range of tasting menus. Dim sum is served all day. The wine list is good, the atmosphere buzzes and the staff are more than happy to help recommend dishes.
