The first of a chain that expanded then contracted back to this venue and one other, Livebait offers a useful restaurant for theatre-goers to the Old Vic nearby. Both the menu and the cooking are basic, so go for the likes of simply cooked Dover sole or moules marinière. The décor is fun: tiled with wooden tables and chairs.
