Zivaz Mexican Bistro Description:
Zivaz is the epitome of fast casual dining with a Mexican flair. Sure, you'll find enchiladas, tacos, tamales and such, but the Valenzuela family has taken the usual suspects and added a twist or two. To wit: A plato chico, or small plate, of patatas, which consists of thinly sliced fried potatoes served with a zesty chipotle aïoli and a zingy chile sauce. Or try the enchiladas de pato, corn tortillas filled with duck breast and then smothered with mole verde. You might want to risk the tour de Zivaz, in which the kitchen makes all the right choices for you. Wine and beer are available, but we suggest imbibing one of the hibiscus margaritas---an ideal accompaniment.
