This Cottonwood Plaza bistro marries homey favorites and modern sensibilities. The fries are reminiscent of Belgian frites. Enjoy them as a side or with steamed mussels laced with chorizo. We also suggest starting with the roasted beet salad with a taste of Humboldt Fog goat cheese followed by the hanger steak with the house "ultimate mashed potatoes," or the roasted-to-order chicken dinner for two. Ask about the daily desserts. The wine list is short but smart, relying mainly on smaller wineries from around the world, but jaxKitchen is also known for its cocktails, especially "the one" margarita.
