Vivace Restaurant Description:
The Scordato family has long been a part of the fine dining food scene in Tucson. Today, it is Vivace that retains some of that Scordato magic, thanks to Daniel Scordato, who earned his stripes at an early age in the family business. Our favorite dish, the seafood lasagnette, is layered with fresh sheets of pasta and seafood and spinach in a barely there tomato sauce. We also suggest the risotto and the longtime Scordato specialty, osso buco. Save room for Danny's famous chocolate molten cake. The twenty minute wait for this heavenly ending to your meal is worth it. Wines by the glass are varied, and there is a full "by the bottle" list as well. And whether you dine in the warm, sophisticated dining room or on the patio, it's reminiscent of supping in Tuscany.
