My wife and I have been to the Pickle Barrel on Yonge Street just north of the Eaton Centre on multiple occasions and have enjoyed in every time. Their menu is quite extensive, but it is all very hearty and tasty. Nothing terribly avant garde here, just good solid food for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner.
I love Eggs Bene, and have often had that at Pickle Barrel regardless of the time of day. I also enjoy their corned beef on rye. Wifey has had many of their different burger selections and enjoyed them all. They also make great ice cream floats if you can afford the calories.

I'm hard to please, there I said it. I'm a traditional kind of guy. When I order something and then immediately get a sense of regret in my stomach, I tend to want to leave. Pickle Barrel's menu is a safe bet the whole way through. What I like the most would have to be the consistency. I can go to any location and enjoy the beautiful lay out without feeling like a carbon copy of a carbon copy. All the benefits of a chain restaurant without the lack of imagination.
