You'll be instantly comfortable in this Italian eatery from the moment you're ushered in with cheer by Stefano. The food is a good notch above what you'd expect for a busy spot in "Young and Eligible," the nickname for its Yonge and Eglinton location. The salads are fresh with inventive twists and lovely dressings. Baked goat cheese on arugula with sherry vinaigrette is a meal in itself. Thin-crusted pizzas with all kinds of toppings (on white or multi grain dough) and the lengthy pasta selection offer something for every preference. Grilled salmon with black olive, caper, tomato and celery salsa on a bed of arugula is surprisingly good, moist and savory. Desserts such as Cointreau truffle torte and the house specialty, tiramisu, will satisfy the sweetest tooth. The wine list has many well-priced particularly Italian selections.
