Beerbistro Description:
Beerbistro is hopping with people and hops served in every conceivable way until the wee hours of the next morning. Chef-owner Brian Morin infuses, cures, marinates, poaches and stews virtually every dish in beer. Shrimp appetizers are wrapped in Berkshire beer bacon. Pizzas are on beer bread dough. Steak tartare topped with a coddled quail egg is seasoned with Belgian strong ale. Portions can be huge---especially if you order the grilled flatiron steak, applewood smoked back ribs or prime rib---but the generally youthful, male-dominated crowd eats it all up. Belgian skin-on frites fried first in beef tallow and then peanut oil are worth every calorie. The place is joyful with fast and friendly service. The beer list is lengthy with over 130 thirst-inspiring choices from Belgium, Ireland, England, Czech Republic and microbreweries of North America. A three-draught sample is a great way to whet your whistle while deciding on a pint. The wine list is quite good but why go that route? The homemade beer ice cream, such as beer butter tart, will finish you off in fine fashion, especially when paired with a "barleywine." Full descriptions of all beers are offered in its booklet menu for the novice drinker.

Review :
Beerbistro is a nice, clean, pub, that is more like an upscale bar than a down and dirty pub. The place is aiming for the business crowd and it seems they are getting it. Since we were just passing by, in jeans and t-shirts, we felt a little underdressed walking in and seeing the suits. But the staff did not make us feel isolated one bit and we were quickly into the groove of this place. They were also very knowledgeable about the beer they sell, and their selection is extensive. We also ordered food there, a plate of Mussels and their pizza baked with oatmeal stout, both excellent.
Expect to spend a little more money than a standard pub with fare but the quality of the food and the selection of the beer make it worth it. I would repeat.
