Keyakizaka Description:
This Grand Hyatt Tokyo food outlet serves teppanyaki with a modern twist. Basically, it's westernized Japanese, and Keyakizaka's chefs have come up with creative ways to cook a full-course meal, from toasted bread and an appetizer of steamed scallops to sea urchin-flavored rice and a pineapple dessert. Of course, the main event is the evenly marbled Japanese beef that is left to sizzle on the grill according to diners' preferences. In a bit of reverse snobbery, most of it is marketed under small labels that don't usually make it to Tokyo tables, rather than the more famous Kobe or Matsuzaka beef labels.
