Surtitles
Surtitles are like subtitles only they appear unobtrusively above the stage. They provide an English translation of foreign opera and the text selected operas being sung in English. Not all seats have surtitle view.

Late Comers:

Performances start promptly at the advertised time. Latecomers will not be admitted till a suitable break in the performance. In many instances, especially at opera performances, admittance will not be until after the first interval.

Private cars and taxis are permitted to drive in the Opera House forecourt to drop off passengers.
