Breathtaking views of the 268-foot Snoqualmie Falls and the Northwest cuisine make the Salish Lodge & Spa ideal for special occasions as well as for impressing out-of-town visitors. For the best view, request one of the private alcoves. The menu is committed to sustainable agriculture and utilizes local produce from organic sources such as Full Circle Farm. The seasonal six-course "Grand Tasting Menu" is always a good option but there are also à la carte dishes. Consider starting with the Lodge cured duck prosciutto or brandywine tomato bisque with crispy basil. Noteworthy entrées include American Kobe beef tenderloin seared tableside or the herb-roasted quail with rosemary pesto and caramelized onions. Other options include a coriander-crusted Pacific ahi and pheasant poached with buttermilk and sage. Enjoy an after-dinner drink while savoring the fromage blanc cheesecake or the brioche "French toast" flambéed tableside and served with Grand Marnier butter, citrus mascarpone and fresh berries. There's an extensive selection of regional wines; service is polished. Salish Lodges' Country Breakfast has a well earned reputation as one of the best breakfasts in Seattle.
