Botanical Gardens Cafe and Restaurant Description:
In the old curator's cottage with fine views over the gardens. Also has outdoor seating for clement days. I was spoiled for choice on the lunch menu and settled for a Chinese roast pork in hoi sin sauce sandwich served with roast vegetables and curator's chutney. It was beautifully presented and tasted great. Excellent for only £5. As well as out of the ordinary sandwiches the lunch menu also included various pasta and fish dishes - and puddings of course. It's licensed and has bottled beers and wines on offer.
Will I be returning? You bet.
