The jukebox décor and old-fashioned menu are nostalgic reminders of early West Seattle when this location was the site of a funky amusement park. Sit at one of the tables with mismatched wooden chairs or find a perch at the counter to enjoy fare from a bygone era. Breakfast is served all day and the portions are hearty, but don't miss the famous thick, chocolate malts (who says you can't have a chocolate for breakfast?). Burgers and deli sandwiches are huge, and served with generous helpings of crisp fries. Health-conscious diners can order veggie burgers or soups. There's usually a long wait for breakfast, especially in the summer when outdoor tables are in demand and service tends to get bogged down.
