Kidd Valley Description:
A Seattle mainstay, Kidd Valley is known for its juicy bacon burgers, giant onion rings, and old-fashioned milk shakes in 11 flavors from peanut butter to fruit. Established in 1975, the local chain has multiple individual stores and other locations including those at Safeco Field, Qwest Field, and Comcast Arena in Everett. Garlic lovers shouldn't miss the garlic fries. For lunchtime diners, the grilled chicken sandwiches are a terrific option. Prices are higher that at rival fast food franchises, but it's well worth the extra cost. The kids' menu includes downsized burgers and a buttery grilled cheese sandwich on sourdough. You can eat in, but it's even more fun to do take-out and have a picnic at nearby Green Lake.
