Since 1977, Seattleites in the mood for generous portions of basic Mexican fare and fast, pleasant service have stopped at one of the Jalisco restaurants. Locally owned, most of the stores evoke the laid-back charm of a Mexican border-town café, with adobe-colored walls adorned with pretty tiles and a few flashy sombreros. The chicken mole is one of the more sophisticated dishes. The $3.50 house margaritas won't win any prizes but they are adequate to accompany the burritos, enchiladas and tostadas. Other locations.
