A keystone of Fishermen's Terminal where the Alaska fishing fleet docks when not casting nets in northern oceans, this spot is a local favorite with its casual atmosphere and good food. Part of the Anthony's chain that includes Anthony's Homeport and Pier 66, it's down-home friendly and casual. You'd be overdressed wearing anything fancier than jeans or khakis. The menu offers dishes such as crispy, golden crab cakes basking in ginger-plum sauce and beurre blanc, savory halibut or mahi mahi tacos, chop chop salad, and alder-planked wild Alaska salmon and halibut. The fresh sheet lists the day's catch and always includes a bargain Blue Plate Special, which is where we recommend putting your hard-earned cash. On weekends, choose the satisfying Fisherman's Breakfast (be sure to order the scones), and on Monday nights, all-you-can-eat fish 'n' chips is the lure. The oysters are good anytime and we order them at the bar while hoisting a local brew. Share a signature seasonal berry cobbler for dessert. In summertime, Chinook's patio is a choice spot for dinner on a sunny evening.
