Hagop Hagopian (Karma) is in the kitchen at this market-inspired lobby restaurant in the Hyatt Regency Woodfield. Soothing green hues and a too-cool Zen bar set a stylish tone for what's to come: crisp-crusted flatbreads topped with earthy mushrooms; smoky, ham-specked mac 'n' cheese with panko crust; and buttery grilled tenderloin on a bed of vibrant arugula pesto. The menu, which changes every few weeks, might also include a Niman Ranch pork chop bolstered by sweet potatoes and apple-fennel purée or bouillabaisse in saffron broth. Note that there's a breakfast buffet on Sundays.
