Specialties cooked in a kadhai (iron wok) and on a tawa (griddle-like iron plate) help show off the range of this complicated centuries-old cuisine, while tandoori choices go beyond the standards to include chicken breasts in almond sauce and whole leg of lamb. Don't ignore seafood, such as an appetizer of jumbo shrimp in a tomato-based sauce, or vegetables, among them savory spinach and mustard greens simmered with butter in the kadhai. Most everything is nicely prepared and moderately priced for the level of sophistication. Finish with kulfi (un-churned ice cream), and if it's summer, have a mango shake. The daily lunch buffet is a real steal.
