Though its menu is limited, the casually elegant Fresco is bound to more than satisfy diners with starters like seared polenta with wild mushroom, Fontina crema and pomodoro. Move on to the risotto of the evening or a Colorado lamb chop with pine nuts and Madeira, and finish with tiramisu. The intimate atmosphere, highlighted by an indoor fireplace (or candlelit patio in the summer), makes this eatery the number one choice for date night in Salt Lake City---but be sure to make a reservation. There is sparse seating and high demand, especially on Friday nights. Service is professional. FYI, the restaurant does not accept personal checks.
