Not far from Concordia University and The Faubourg, Cuisine Bangkok has been serving fine Thai food for ages. Originally a kiosk in The Faubourg's food court, the restaurant's reputation for authentic Thai food outgrew its humble beginnings and required a full-scale restaurant. The décor is clean and modern with a distinctly Thai flavor, comfortable yet stylishly sedate. The tom yum soup is exemplary with its various elements contrasting sour, spicy and sweet---one of the hallmarks of Thai cuisine. Another cornerstone of Thai cooking, green curry chicken, marries bamboo shoots, hot green chili, coconut milk and tender chicken. When ordering, consider that dishes here can be made as mild or spicy as desired (and for the true spice lover, the kitchen will make dishes spicy enough to please even the most die-hard hothead). Service is friendly and professional.
