Fire and Ice Description:
Fire & Ice is a free-for-all. If you don't believe us, just take a look at the menu, which in this case we'll call a food catalog. "No menu, no limits" it reads. And it's true. Reviving the choose-your-own-adventure Mongolian barbecue concept popular in the 1980s, this Boston import lets diners choose their sauce, starch, vegetables and meats, then hand their selections directly to chefs who cook it all up before their eyes on a show-stopping grill-griddle in the center of the room. It's a dramatic performance set against a vibrant backdrop of primary colors and geometric patterns. It's something-for-everyone dining where one can match, for better or worse, the likes of Greenberg's teriyaki (pineapple, soy, orange and ginger) with Tahitian honey glaze or mushroom Marsala, calamari, garbanzo beans, bok choy and Asian noodles. A host of colorful cocktails at the bar round out this sometimes-absurd, always lively production.
