This happy hangout in the midst of the bustling Hawthorne District offers an oasis of good vibes. Since 1988, Rose City denizens have kicked back here to chow good pizza, which is available by the slice or the pie. The choices are endless. Tomato, pesto or white cream sauce? Mozzarella, cheddar, feta or Gorgonzola? There are toppings galore, from traditional to totally unexpected, such as wild boar. Pizza-haters (Is there such a creature?) can fill up on a meal-size salad or sandwich. On warm dry days, the sidewalk picnic tables offer good people-watching opportunities.
