Kay's Bar and Grill Description:
Vintage rules at Kay's, from the Naugahyde upholstered booths to the video poker machines, giving the place an easy feel that's nearly addictive. It's a fine place to hide from the brutal pressures of urban trendiness although some contemporary features have crept in, such as free WiFi and a smoke-free environment. The food is better than average comfort food, and ranges from tater tots smothered in Gorgonzola to a hummus-and-pita plate. Late-night entertainment includes live music, karaoke and trivia contests. The establishment is also a proud sponsor of a Rose City Rollers skate team, the Break Neck Betties.
