Perry's On Fremont Description:
This mom and pop café has evolved from a hamburger shack to one of northeast Portland's culinary treasures. Right alongside, the menu evolved to an eclectic array of small plates, sandwiches, pasta and hearty entrées. Families flock here to enjoy sweet delights such as pies, cakes, brownies and ice cream. The artful décor and pleasant patio appeal to all ages. Some parents have their kids eat a cheeseburger or chicken potpie before turning to the decadent mega-desserts, but you won't hear much complaining. Mom and Dad are enjoying themselves with such specialty entrées as Cajun fisherwoman's stew or lime chicken tostada. Perry's also offers its trademark chicken potpie and enchiladas to take-and-bake at home.
