This pretty restaurant is a nice blend of friendly ambience and good taste. The setting is warm yet slightly formal and the menu features contemporary Northwest cooking infused with Mediterranean style. But Lucy's doesn't just bring together incongruous flavors for the sake of surprise. This is intelligently conceived eclectic cooking, not flashy and pointless fusion cuisine. Start with the trademark goat cheese ravioli nestled in a brown butter sauce. Standout entrées include rabbit paella made with bomba rice, pork lardoons, haricots verts, fennel, saffron and thyme, along with wild mushroom gnocchi served with manchego cheese. There are several thoughtful choices for vegetarians as well, including a hearty soy and wild mushroom "meatloaf." The most civilized aspect of dining at Lucy's table is the dedicated service, which is sincere and unobtrusive.
