Beaterville Café Description:
As the name implies, this spot is decorated with old car parts, but the food is anything but run down. Breakfast fare, served all day, is hearty and huge, from the Dutch baby pancake to frittata-style omelets---and did we say spuds, tons of spuds? The basic diner lunches are healthfully enhanced with homemade bread, crispy fresh vegetables in the salads, and lean ground beef or meat-substitute for the burgers. Vegetarians can replace the eggs in scrambles with tofu. Expect a wait on Saturdays and Sundays, but feel free to help yourself to coffee.
