Ocean Prime Description:
This place rocks---both figuratively and literally. As a high-end (albeit mainstream) steakhouse from a Florida-based chain, Ocean Prime packs in customers happy to cough up some substantial coin for butter and Tabasco-sautéed shrimp, steaks broiled at 1,200 degrees or molten chocolate cake. Choose from nearly three dozen by-the-glass wines, then sit back and admire the handsome rich woods accented by formal white tablecloths. While most of the dishes are familiar---king salmon, crab cakes, oysters Rockefeller---there's no denying they're satisfying and generously portioned. More whimsical dishes, like a plate of six truffled deviled eggs, keep the menu interesting. There's also a whole lot of style from the white-jacketed servers who set up scotch service, complete with a carafe of cracked ice and fresh lemons. And as a supper club, Ocean Prime has folks lining up for the nightly live entertainment in the lounge.
