Driving direction to North Star:
FROM THE NORTH ( Using I95 S)
Take I-95 to EXIT 17 ( Central Philadelphia) Stay to the left and follow signs for 676 WEST. Follow 676 West for approx. 1 1/2 miles, moving to the farthest right lane. You will see a sign for the museum area. Exit soon after at the BEN FRANKLIN PARKWAY. atthe top of the ramp, makea right onto 22nd STREET. Follow 22nd Street north, crossing over the Parkway and merging into the left lane. Just past the Parkway, make a LEFT onto PENNSYLVANIA Ave. ( Phila ARt Museum is on your left) Pennsylvania Ave. narrows, so stay to your left. Take a right on 27th STREET. Follow 27th STEET up two blocks to POPLAR.

FROM THE NORTHEAST:
Follow the Northeast Extension South until it ends. Take I-476 SOUTH to EXIT 6. Proceed on I-76 EAST to EXIT 38 (Central Phila). The expressway splits for this exit- stay in the middle lane. Immediately after this exit, take the first right hand exit which is for the ARt Museum. Follow the exit straight down to 22nd Street and make a LEFT. Follow 22nd STEET North, crossing over the Parkway. Just past the Parkway, make a LEFT onto PENNSYLVANIA AVE. Take a right on 27th STREET. Follow 27th up four blocks to POPLAR.

FROM THE EAST: USING NJ TURNPIKE
DO NOT FOLLOW SIGNS TO PA TURNPIKE- Take NJ Turnpike to Exit 4 (Camden/ Phila) Stay to the right through toll both. Take RT 73 NORTH to RT 38 WEST. Proceed on 38 WEST to RT 30 WEST. Continue on RT 30 to the Benjamin Franklin Bridge. Follow signs for 676 WEST. Follow 676 for Approx. 1 1/2 miles. Exit at the BEN FRANKLIN PKWY Exit. Make a right onto 22nd STREET. Follow 22nd Street north, crossing over the Parkway and merge into the left hand lane. Just past the Parkway, make a left onto PENNSYLVANIA AVE. Take a right on 27th STREET and follow it four blocks to POPLAR.

FROM SOUTHERN NJ:
Tkae the ATLANTIC CITY EXPRESSWAY and merge with Route 42 North. Continue on RT 42 and get on the WALT WHITMAN BRIDGE. Proceed on I-95 North to Exit 17 . Follow signs for 676 WEST. Stay on 676 for approx. 1 1/2 miles. You will see a sign for museum area. Exit soonafter at the BEN FRANKLIN PKWY exit. Make a right onto 22nd STREET. Follow 22nd Street, crossing over the Pkwy. Make a left onto PENNSYLVANIA AVE. Take a right onto 27th STREET. Follow 27th street four blocks to POPLAR.
